'Nuestra once/ Our Tea Time'

On Saturdays I would have afternoon tea with my
grandparents, it was at that other town.
Mother stayed at home with the little ones. It was all
because of the cold. Half spellbound, I would watch the programme that my grandparents so much liked.
They had such a good time watching that programme, it never seemed to end.
"That shockin' ol' man's laughin' so rowdily he's gonnafright'n my li' girl,'
my grandmother always used to say, while I sat crossÂ-leggedin
front of the TV set.
